SUPERB SUPERVISION

Many people are promoted into leadership positions because they've been successful workers. The challenge for supervisors, however, is to manage employees in order to accomplish work: an entirely different set of skills. This course teaches you how to create cooperative, productive relationships with your staff. Topics include performance management as a process, how to motivate others, how to delegate effectively, and how to coach for results and accountability. You will learn how to create both the infrastructure and the interpersonal environment required in order for you to be a trusted and effective supervisor.    CEUs: 0.60
