THE WONDERFUL WORLD OF HONEYBEES

One of the most familiar insects in the world is the honeybee. However, the dwindling honeybee population is an alarming development for many gardeners who depend on honeybees for pollination. Discover more about the honeybee family - who they are, what they do and how bees make honey. Also, learn about the value of honeybees and the threats they are facing. We will also view an observation hive, discuss how bees choose a new home, taste varietal honeys and more.
