Course Description

We once understood computers as massive devices of speedy but limited intelligence hidden in large university and government buildings. But businesses adopted them too, and in 1977 the Commodore PET (Personal Electronic Transactor) appeared - the first all-in-one computer a family could plug in and use at home. From our pockets to our physicians’ offices, computers run - and expose to others - much of our work and personal lives today. Cyber safety has become critical. Where is this going, and what can we do about it?
