Course Description

Prerequisite: familiarity with Windows XP, or Vista or Windows 7 Find out how to design tables for use in relational database applications. You'll learn to identify data as fields, group fields into tables, select key fields and identify table relationships; identify data problems and apply data normalization techniques to solve them; use referential integrity and other techniques to support the accuracy of data in the database; and use criteria and operators, and perform appropriate table joins in queries. This is primarily a lecture-based course.
