Welcome this semester to stories of youth. We begin with the luminous Anthony Doerr's New York Times bestseller All the Light You Cannot See. We follow with James Baldwin's prize-winning autobiographical classic Go Tell It on the Mountain. Next is Vivian Gornick's fabulous memoir, Fierce Attachments. Then we read Ruth Ozeki's letter in a bottle story, A Tale for the Time Being. Last is The Song of the Lark, by early 20th century novelist, Willa Cather. Feel free to bring a snack or bag lunch.
