INTRODUCTION TO HTML FOR WEB SITE DESIGN
Sorry, this course has been cancelled. Please contact our office to see if it will be rescheduled, or if alternative classes are available. Course DescriptionThe Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) is the underlying language of every Web page. This simple text-based language can be written on any computer, regardless of platform, using nothing more than a plain text editor like Windows Notepad. In this course, students will learn the syntax of HTML by identifying the language's building blocks (called tags), their attributes, and the values these attributes are assigned. By examining how tags are used to define individual portions of Web page content (called elements), students will learn how to properly construct HTML documents, format text, embed images, and create hyperlinks. |
